Where are you located?

Downingtown Country Club is located at 93 Country Club Dr, Downingtown, Pennsylvania 19335 — just minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and minutes from West Chester and Exton.

Do I need to be a golf club member to host my wedding?

No, our golf club is public, and we welcome everyone to host their wedding here.

What is included in my wedding package?

All wedding packages include a five-hour reception (plus an additional ½ hour for on-site ceremonies), a champagne greeting and toast, open bar, and cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres and stations.

You’ll also enjoy a personally designed wedding cake, access to the Chocolate Indulgence Room, a dedicated wedding concierge, Chiavari chairs, linens, centerpieces, use of the Wedding Suite and Billiards Lounge, and complimentary on-site parking.

What is the capacity of your venue?

Our Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests with a dance floor, offering flexible layouts for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations.

What kind of outdoor spaces do you offer?

Downingtown features a stunning pergola ceremony site beside a waterfall with views of the golf course and rolling hills.

Guests can also enjoy the covered patio for cocktail hour, complete with fire pits, chandeliers, and specialty lighting for a romantic outdoor atmosphere.

Do you have getting-ready rooms?

Yes. Couples have access to a spacious Wedding Suite with mirrors and a vanity, along with men’s and women’s locker rooms and a lounge with a pool table and TV overlooking the golf course.

What kind of lighting do you have available?

The Grand Ballroom features elegant chandeliers and ambient lighting that create a warm, romantic atmosphere. The covered patio adds to the glow with specialty lighting and fire pits, perfect for evening celebrations.

Who is responsible for the table and chair set up and tear down?

Our Downingtown team handles all setup and teardown for tables and chairs, ensuring every detail is ready when you arrive.

We also offer rehearsal luncheons and dinners for an added celebration with your wedding party.

Do you have any restrictions on music or entertainment?

When is the retainer due?

The retainer is due at the time of booking to secure your date and begin the planning process.

Are there any additional fees or charges that I should be aware of?

All packages are subject to current sales tax and a service charge. A $2,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, and subsequent payments follow the outlined schedule in your contract.

Additional costs may include ceremony fees, bar or menu upgrades, or enhancement add-ons selected during planning.

When is the final payment due?

Final payment is due one week prior to your wedding date.
